Just to let you know that I've just published my first two books called Modern Swahili and Swahili for Teens. Two is better than one....:) Over a period of 10 years I have written over 12 books but never official published them...Now I have started with these two that I think are mostly needed..
After teaching Swahili language online at (Cyber Swahili) for about 7 years now and 3 years to the children of Tanzanian heritage in the Northern New Jersey and New York City area, I knew there is a need for Swahili language books that are written by native speakers and that do have words that are spoken by many people right now. Many of my students have been asking me about words that they found from other books. When I look at those books most of the times I find that they have been written by non-native speakers and some of them have words that were spoken in the old days.
My books are simple yet informative and they concentrate on those areas that I have seen many beginners struggle with to understand the most when they are starting to learn Swahili language.
I am running book giveaway promos for these two books that have just been published in September, the Modern Swahili and Swahili for Teens. 10 winners each will receive one autographed copy.
