On Dec 9, 1961, Tanzania Bara then known as Tanganyika under the leadership of former president Julius Kambarage Nyerere got its independence from Britain. Today, Tanzania Bara celebrates 52 years of independence. Yes it has been 52 years since Tanzania Bara got it's independence but it hasn't been a funny ride or a walk in a park but nothing is more precious than pieces.
Though Tanzania Bara didn't fight to get its independence but so many people have died since then just to try to make the country a true democratic country. There are so many things to be done and a long journey ahead.
