Do You Use Your Power of Charisma?

When growing up in Tanzania, I often had the opportunity to see my late dad, a reverend, preached, gave speeches, chaired meetings and held fundraising. My dad was a youth pastor as long as I can remember but on and off he was assigned to be a senior pastor for couple of different congregations. Later on his charismatic turned him to be a very well famous pastor for stewardship in Kilimanjaro region. Many pastors or groups used to invite him whenever they wanted to teach people about the stewardship.

You can build or increase your charisma by setting clear goals for yourself. Making plans and working on your plans to achieve them with discipline every day, you'll begin to attract the people and opportunities necessary to make those goals a reality. Men and women with charisma strongly believe in themselves and in whatever they are doing. People are naturally attracted to those who have an unshakable belief in their ability to rise above circumstances and attain their goals.

Charisma is one of the best traits for leadership. When I think of a charismatic leader, I often come up with leaders such as Julius K. Nyerere, Nelson Mandela, Bill Clinton, Steve Jobs, Barack Obama and Margaret Thatcher. Leaders need to be better at what they do, particularly communicating issues that to many are still complex and counter to much of what they believe. They need to sell their visions and their ability to innovates in order to deliver a sustainable world.

It is true that many of those charismatic leaders are now sadly past or reach their peak. It's time for new blood, those that are willing to connect, to critique and empower to enable others to become leaders in their own rights to provide that charismatic magic, connecting people to issues which they would otherwise ignore yet once understood become the powerful drivers and meaning that is often lost in people's lives.

So how do you use your power of Charisma?
